Make a Gift In-Kind

Thank you for thinking of us for your donation.

Please note that due to storage limitations we are unable to accept large volume donations of used clothing. At the Red Door we do not have the facilities to wash used items or do large volume sortings.

The needs at the shelters can change so it is best to contact us to ensure that we are able to accept your donation.

If you would like to donate items to the Red Door, please contact Joyce Hsu at 416-915-5671 ext 222.

If you are interested in contributing furniture to our Moving Program, please click here.

Our Current Needs Are:

  • New, or gently used household items: Toasters, microwaves, dish sets, cups, mugs, blenders, cutlery, etc.
  • New, or cleaned and gently used sheets and towels
  • New Undergarments: Underwear, Socks, for men, woman, and children
  • New, or cleaned and gently used baby items:  strollers, high chairs, play pens, car seats, and baby clothing. 
  • New, or cleaned and gently used seasonal clothing
  • Non-perishable food or Food Vouchers for our shelter food banks ($25, $50 or $100 denominations from No Frills, Food Basics, Price Chopper, Metro or Loblaws).

Please note: We cannot accept child cribs, stuffed animals, used undergarments, high chairs, VHS movies, used computer equipment and items that are broken or in need of repair.
