Thank you for choosing Red Door for your Youth and Philanthropy project.  We hope to make your experience learning about the charitable sector as rewarding and engaging as possible.

To help you create the best presentation for your assignment, please note the following important information and rules about the shelter:

Once you have selected your date, please contact Bev Webb at bwebb@reddoorshelter.ca to book your tour.

*** PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Tours are approximately 30 - 45 mins in length.
  2. Tours WILL NOT be run on a drop in basis. This is for your safety and the safety of our families. You MUST register your group for a tour at least 1 week prior to the requested date.***
  3. Please send your questions in advance so we can provide you with all of the information you need.
  4. For the security of our families we cannot allow photographs or videos to be taken of the shelter.
  5. Please be on time for your scheduled tour! Groups that are late can affect the quality of service we are able to provide to our families.

Cancellations

If you need to reschedule your tour please send an email to Bev Webb at bwebb@reddoorshelter.ca 24 hours in advance.

If your group does not show up without providing notice of cancellation your tour WILL NOT be rescheduled.

**Cancelling without notice is disruptive to our families and to the services we provide so please be courteous.**
