The families, Board of Directors, and staff of the Red Door Family Shelter would like to sincerely thank the community for its overwhelming support during the holiday season.

This year, the Red Door was able to support over 140 families with the help of our many generous donors and family sponsors who provided gift packages of winter clothing, house wares, and gift certificates, as well as special holiday meals, food vouchers and even lovingly prepared stockings, gift boxes and toys for the children.

Charity Intelligence has once again named the Red Door as a 2011 Recommended Charity!

Charity Intelligence Canada, a non-profit organization that researches and analyzes Canada's charities to enable funders to make informed and effective giving decisions, has once again judged the Red Door Family Shelter as one of their recommended charities for 2011.
