Keller Williams celebrates RED DAY at the RED DOOR

On Thurs May 13, 2010, Keller Williams Advantage Realty and Paint Crew Canada came out to support the Red Door. RED (Renew, Energize and Donate) Day is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving local communities.

Our Thanks to Share the Love!

On the evening of June 26th 2010, a fundraising event in support of The Red Door Family Shelter was held by Share the Love, a fundraising initiative that supports local organizations in Toronto.  The event raised over $1,500 for the Red Door!

Thank you to Sleeps Six!

We would like to thank Sleeps Six, Lee Whalen, Derek Christie and Michelle Luxton for donating their time, music and energy.  Pauline Groen of Sleep Six organized a benefit concert on March 25 at C'est What, with all proceeds from the door as well as 50% of the cd sales donated to the Red Door!

Red Door Family Shelter would like to thank the staff from PKF HILL Chartered Accountants for generously donating their time, energy, and enthusiasm. On Tuesday February 16, 2010 a group of six volunteers from PKF Hill visited the Red Door Family Shelter to help us celebrate Pancake Tuesday with our families.

The Families, Board of Directors, and Staff of the Red Door Family Shelter would like to sincerely thank the community for its overwhelming support of our 2009 Holiday Giving Program.  

This year, the Red Door was able to deliver packages consisting of winter clothing, housewares, toys, non-perishable food, gift certificates and food vouchers to over 120 families, ensuring a joyful holiday season for all.

Charity Intelligence names the Red Door as a 2009 Recommended Charity!

 Charity Intelligence Canada, a new non-profit organization that researches and analyzes Canada's charities to enable funders to make informed and effective giving decisions, has recently deemed the Red Door Family Shelter as one of their Recommended Charities for the 2009-2010 year.

One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale donates proceeds to Red Door Family Shelter

In the spirit of giving and in celebration of its 35th anniversary, the One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale will be donating a portion of its proceeds this year to the Red Door Family Shelter. 35 cents of every ticket sale on December 2nd will go directly to Red Door.

A.B.M Canada Inc. Makes a Generous Donation

We would like to thank A.B.M Canada Inc. from Brampton Ontario, for generously donating 50 storage containers to the Red Door Shelter in April 2009.
