Charity Intelligence Canada, a new non-profit organization that researches and analyzes Canada's charities to enable funders to make informed and effective giving decisions, has recently deemed the Red Door Family Shelter as one of their Recommended Charities for the 2009-2010 year.
The Red Door was submitted to an intense level of analysis of our financials and service outcomes and we emerged as once of their recommended charities for 2009.
Of 453 charities that were approached for information, only 32 charities from across Canada were selected as a recommended charity and profiled within their 2009 Recommended Charities publication.
The Red Door Family Shelter is one of only two family related services profiled within the recommended charity list. To read our profile, click here.
