The Red Door Family Shelter gratefully acknowledges the support of BBM Canada and its employees for generously donating their time and energy for a painting project at the shelter.

On October 14, 2009, nine BBM Canada employees descended on the Red Door, paint brushes in hand ready and eager to paint our fire doors. Their artistic talents and enthusiasm were evident throughout the day.

Thank you BBM Canada Volunteers for "Making our Red Doors Red Again"!

Red Door Family Shelter would like to thank the staff from PKF HILL Chartered Accountants for generously donating their time, energy, and enthusiasm. On Tuesday February 16, 2010 a group of six volunteers from PKF Hill visited the Red Door Family Shelter to help us celebrate Pancake Tuesday with our families.

The Families, Board of Directors, and Staff of the Red Door Family Shelter would like to sincerely thank the community for its overwhelming support of our 2009 Holiday Giving Program.

This year, the Red Door was able to deliver packages consisting of winter clothing, housewares, toys, non-perishable food, gift certificates and food vouchers to over 120 families, ensuring a joyful holiday season for all.

Charity Intelligence Canada, a new non-profit organization that researches and analyzes Canada's charities to enable funders to make informed and effective giving decisions, has recently deemed the Red Door Family Shelter as one of their Recommended Charities for the 2009-2010 year.
