Thank you to all the runners at walkers who participated in the Sociabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge this past Sunday.  Your support and determination raised $12,000 for the Red Door's outreach program! 

We would like to make a special thank you to Bothwell Accurate for all of their incredible support surrounding the CHIN Picnic. Through donation requests made to their staff and suppliers they helped raise an additional $8,000 for Red Door. 

A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at the Scotiabank CHIN picnic!  The weather held out for an amazing Canada Day weekend! A big thanks to all our volunteers and to everyone who stopped by and help support us.

On Novemeber 24th, top Canadian artists Ron Sexsmith, Madison Violet, Colleen & Paul, Kinnie Starr and Rose Cousins lit up the stage for the 10th annual Open Door Festival of Music in support of the Red Door.   Together they helped raise close to $5,000 for our families.   Thank you to all of the artists and to the festival's wonderful organzers Marysia Czarski and Sharon Ross!
 

On September 26th, over 12 supporters walked and ran for the Red Door in this year's Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge. They raised $14,900 from almost 200 supporters.

On June 24th, the 2010 Annual General Meeting of the Red Door Family Shelter was held at the Ralph Thornton Centre, 765 Queen Street East in Toronto. Executive Director Bernnitta Hawkins outlined the highlights of the year and noted that the Red Door's success in helping over 530 families end their episode of homelessness.

Two Mom's Baked Goods & Foglie - The Flower Shop have teamed up to support the Red Door with a great gift idea for Mother's Day:  personalized cookies and custom flower bouquet packages! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Door to help support our Moms.

On Thursday June 25th 2009 The Red Door Shelter honored all of our amazing volunteers at our Annual General Meeting.

In May of 2006, Campbell Becher and friends held the first An Evening Through the Red Door fundraising event, raising $100,000 for the Red Door. The event, attended by almost 400, was held at Brant House and featured both a live and silent auction. Donated items to the auctions included rare wines, original art and a ski vacation in the Rockies.

The 6th Open Door Festival of Music was held at the Mod Club in Toronto on November 22, 2006. Since its inception, the organizers of the Open Door Festival of Music have creatively and generously donated the proceeds from this evening of wonderful music to the Red Door Family Shelter. The total of the funds raised for the Red Door is in excess of $10,000.00.
