6th Open Door Festival of Music

The 6th Open Door Festival of Music was held at the Mod Club in Toronto on November 22, 2006. Since its inception, the organizers of the Open Door Festival of Music have creatively and generously donated the proceeds from this evening of wonderful music to the Red Door Family Shelter. The total of the funds raised for the Red Door is in excess of $10,000.00.

Organizers Marysia Czarski and Sharon Ross have produced this fantastic annual event as a labour of love. Neither of them receive any compensation for work on this project. In addition, all of the musicians at the Open Door Festival of Music perform free of charge so that the proceeds of the event can go to help the work of the Red Door. The festival is truly a grassroots endeavour, supporting local musical talent as well as reaching out to help those struggling with homelessness in our city.
