We all know how hard it can be to stay warm during Canadian winters. Unfortunately, not everyone in Toronto has the means to address this problem.
In 2016, we learned that socks were the #1 donation item requested by homeless shelters in the winter. We developed the Toronto Sock Exchange to donate these warm socks through the purchase of fancy dress socks. Over our first two years we've donated over 5,000 pairs of warm socks to local shelters and charities. The initiative is 100% volunteer run, and donates 100% of its profits to charity.
