1. How do I register for the event?

Contact us to receive your discount code - then you can sign-up here

2. Are there fees to register with Team Red Door?

There are registration fees, but Red Door will reimburse your race entry fee if you raise a minimum of:

$250 for the 5k
$500 for the half or full marathon

If your fundraising goal is less than the above then the registration fee would apply, but it is still at a discounted rate for participating with us.  Fees to register are:

3. What day is the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on and what are the start
times?

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon is on Sunday October 21, 2018.

Please make note of your start time for your specific event:
5K Start Time: 8am
Half and Full Marathon Start Time: 8:45am

4. When is the last day I can register?

Technically, the last day to register is October 15th 2018, but STWM reaches capacity very quickly, especially for the 5K.  We recommend you register before Sept. 1st to ensure you get a spot.

5. How do I know that I am registered for my race?

After you’ve registered through our website, we will contact within 48 hours to confirm your registration. You’ll receive 2 emails, one from raceroster.ca, and one from us providing you with your fundraising page log-in.

6. What is the course map and directions?

7. What if I’m not able to meet my fundraising goal for the reimbursement?

When we call to confirm your registration, we will ask for a credit card number from you for the registration fee (see above).  If you are unable to reach your goal, you will not receive a remibursement for your registration fee.

Experience shows, if you try you succeed!  Our Fundraisng Resources will help ensure you meet your goal.


8. What is my username and password for online fundraising?

We'll provide a username and password for you when your registration is complete.  If you’ve forgotten or lost your username and password, please email fundraising@reddoorshelter.ca or phone 416-915-5671 x232

9. Can my friends and I have our own team but still raise funds for Red Door?

Yes. If you and a group of friends and/or family want to form your own group within the larger Team Red Door, let us know who your group members are and we can set that up for you.  You can have your own team captain, a team fundraising page and even your own team name.

10. Can I fundraise by collecting cash and cheque?

Yes. If you are collecting cash and cheque, please download the offline pledge form and fill out the form as completely and accurately as possible. Please make sure that all cheques are made payable to Red Door Family Shelter.
