Wrapped in Courage Campaign

text courage to 41010 to donate to ontario women's shelters

November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. The purple scarf is a symbol of the courage it takes a woman to leave her abuser. However, the courage of a woman is not enough. It takes the support of an entire community to end violence against women.

This year, the Ontario Association of Interval Houses' Wrapped in Courage campaign is not selling purple scarves; but asking for your support with a donation to help emergency women's shelters like ours throughout the province. All you need to do is text the word 'COURAGE' to 41010 to donate $5-$25. Every dollar raised will be evenly distributed to participating women’s shelters across the province.
