We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout to our emergency meeting last night (Apr. 7). More than 300 community members packed into the Ralph Thornton Centre. Many spoke from personal experience about the importance of the Red Door to them and to the community. This amazing support has given us great optimism because we know that our community stands behind us in this fight. Thank you all so much for your support.

We are pleased to announce that former Toronto mayor David Crombie has agreed to be part of our campaign by heading a leadership team who will help us reach out to all levels of government.
For any of you who weren’t able to attend, we are asking community members to help out by spreading the word and getting others involved. We need everyone to:
- Sign and share our online petition: change.org/savethereddoor
- Help distribute flyers in your neighbourhood
- Contact your city councilor
- Contact the developer and receiver
We will be holding weekly organizing meetings every Monday at 7pm at our administrative office and welcome any additional support that you can provide. If you could like to get involved please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We know that can we win this with your continued support. Thank you, and we look forward to sharing more good news with you.
