Our Annual Report for 2015 is now available. This report summarizes our operations and finances for the year April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015.
We were able to help 603 families in total. More than two-thirds of families were mother-led, demonstrating that family homelessness is an issue that disproportionately affects women and single-mothers. In total, 52 more families relied on the Red Door Shelter compared to last year.
Homeless families deserve the best of what we can do to help and it is thanks to our dedicated team of tireless staff, committed volunteers and very generous donors that we can continue to provide the programs and services that help families achieve the long-term objectives of stability and independence.
