A resident and her children moved into interim accommodations yesterday, April 2, that provides her enhanced privacy and the ability to self-isolate. This was a planned move as it had become apparent that our shelter was not equipped to meet the complexity of her needs. This is not a decision we take lightly. We are collaborating with the city to find her more suitable long-term accommodations and we are confident she and her children will be taken care of.
