In addition to the funds raised from generous supporters the RBC Foundation surprised Red Door with an additional $5,000!

In December the family shelter moved to its interim location at 1430 Gerrard St. E. We were delighted by the warm welcome from our new neighbours at the Open House in October and are confident that families in crisis will continue to be well served during our time on Gerrard St. E.

The Red Door Family Shelter will be coming to a new community for a few years while a permanent home is being built at 875 Queen Street East. For 34 years we have served women and families in crisis from across Toronto and now we are undergoing an exciting re-development. Learn more at reddoorshelter.ca/building-hope
